Hi, I’m Lindsay, and I’m a product photographer living in Ryde on the Isle of Wight – ten minutes from Portsmouth on the south coast. I specialise in product photography; covering lifestyle imagery, Photoshop and cut-outs.
When I first picked up a camera, I was drawn to capturing manufactured colour. I was also influenced by the coast where I live on the Isle of Wight.
Because each brand or creator is individual, my images will reflect your values and unique look, whether that’s dark and dramatic, clean and minimal, or bold, bright and colourful!
I work with creators, makers, brands, arts organisations and small businesses. I provide high quality, engaging product photography for websites, print, publicity and social media.
What motivates me is a need to be creative and independent. My goal is to provide a professional photography experience for clients. Like them, I know what it takes to turn a creative passion into a viable business.
As well as my developing portfolio, I also run a photography blog, where I share my experiences with other creatives growing their own businesses.
I was initially self-taught, before gaining a certificate in Digital Photography from the Open University in conjunction with the Royal Photographic Society.
Online courses and workshops have enabled me to learn off-camera lighting (flash) and editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. Photography is a never-ending journey, so it’s lucky I love learning!
Future product photography plans
In addition to product photography, I plan to expand my services to creator/behind the brand shoots, including video. If you have specific requirements – please ask!
I find photography takes over my life and sparks interests in other areas too, such as fashion and PR. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and want to see my work published in magazines.
